Festive Princess Leia

Just when you thought the Princess Leia Metal Bikini thing had gone away I've just read about Hallmark's Slave Princess Leia Christmas ornament! Why didn't I know about this before Chrimbo? What says Christmas more than a bauble shaped like a half naked Carrie Fisher?

Happy Christmas

And so, the turkey is seasoned and in the fridge, the veg are ready to go, the pigs are in their blankets, the presents are under the tree and we're nearly ready to go.

It's been a funny old week - my Grandad's funeral was held on Wednesday so as you can imagine my emotions have been mixed - but Christmas is all set for takeoff in the Scott household. (I hope Mother-in-law likes her present...)

To everyone's who reading this I hope that you have a magical Christmas and that all your wishes come through on the most wonderful day of the year...

Featuring characters from our Doctor Who audios we're really proud of the book. You can read a sample here and of course, buy a copy. You can also pick it up from Amazon UK.

Best / Gazza!

The Sun amazes me again! In an amazing example of in-depth journalism they prove that "Flawed Footballer" Paul Gascoigne (pictured with Billie "Doctor Who" Piper) is mirroring the life of George Best (pictured below with 'friend'). This is acheived by a series of photographs that show without any doubt that Gazza is on the "same tragic path".

Let's consider the evidence:

They feature a picture of Gazza playing snooker in 1995 and, shock, horror find a picture of Bestie playing snooker too!

Then to back up their argument they feature a pic of Gazza at a book signing beside a snap of Best at a book signing. No!

Other evidence include snaps of Gazza drinking / Best drinking, Gazza standing in front of a car / Best standing in front of a car, Gazza celebrating with team mate Paul Merson / Best celebrating with team-mate Dick Bentley. It's uncanny.

But the most damning proof is that they have pictures of Gazza playing football and Bestie playing football. What?!?! They both played football? That seals the deal them. Poor old Gascoigne is doomed.

I am suprised that the Sun didn't also include the shocking news that both men have two legs, both need (or needed) oxygen to breathe and came from planet Earth. That would have clinched it!

Bravo Sun! Good work!
